Expedient integration setup

TaluxIQ integrates with Expedient (e2open) to register import jobs directly into your TMS. This guide covers the setup process for Expedient customers.

Prerequisites

• An active Expedient environment with API access enabled
• Admin access to configure integration settings
• Your Expedient API credentials

Setup steps

1. Contact your Expedient account manager to ensure API access is enabled for your environment.
2. In TaluxIQ, go to Settings → TMS Integration and select Expedient.
3. Enter your Expedient API endpoint, client ID, and API key.
4. Configure your default settings — branch code, department, and transport mode defaults.
5. Click Test Connection to verify connectivity.

Document and field mapping

Expedient uses a different field structure than CargoWise, and TaluxIQ handles this mapping automatically. However, you'll want to review:

• Charge codes: Map common freight charges to your Expedient charge code list under Settings → Charge Codes.
• Party matching: TaluxIQ will attempt to match shippers and consignees against your existing Expedient party database. Review the matching rules under Settings → Party Matching.
• Custom fields: If your Expedient setup uses custom fields for specific workflows, configure these under Settings → Custom Fields.

Testing

Run several test jobs through the review dashboard before enabling automatic submission. Verify that job details, charge codes, and party information are correctly mapped in your Expedient environment.
